Good day, fellow explorers! You have found the Others Page of Dr. Hyram Jeckyllwocky, coming to you from Santa Fe, New Mexico. I hope to convince you of the grave danger facing you --indeed, facing the entire human race! A visionary from the early 20th century knew of them, the Old Ones. I speak, of course, of H.P. Lovecraft: He must have seen their dark malformed shapes; he must have shuddered at their unspeakable hideousness!

How do I know that H.P.Lovecraft must have seen them? These twisted evil beings? I know for his descriptions so accurately capture the essence of those things I have encountered! My experience was uncannily like his story "At The Mountains of Madness". I can almost believe that he heard my mind-screams rippling back through time. This may very well be possible. . . . But to return to the very dark heart of the matter. I say that we can --nay, we must!-- resist these malignancies oozing from alternate dimensions into our own world! You and you fellow human beings have been blissfully--yet dangerously--ignorant of the malevolent forces gathering against us.

Yet there are clues before you! Strange phenomena happen every day! Our tradition-minded scientists stubbornly refuse to acknowledge this veritable catalogue of the bizarre! Yet these self-same scientists find and measure various energies, at various frequencies, all pointing to the existence of parallel dimensions! All right, so, then we must gather together the visionaries ourselves, my friends. We must find strong men of strong vision, men like H.P.Lovecraft or one of his contemporaries, Charles Fort. My ideal team would also include H.G.Wells, builder and operator of the world's first true time machine; yes, I met this great man once! Also, I would include the likes of the accomplished Dr. Victor Frankenstein--Yes! there was a real Dr. Frankenstein. Great he was--though much maligned by that silly fairytale told by Mary Shelley. (I have found his notes most useful. . . .) . . . What? No one out there fit enough?! No great souls left? I must do it all myself?! (Sobs.)
