Good day, fellow explorers! You have found the Fortean Phenomena Page of Dr. Hyram Jeckyllwocky, coming to you from Santa Fe, New Mexico. What are Fortean Phenomena, you ask? Why these are none other than the very bizarre things that happen from time to time-- things such as: a rain of blood, spontaneous human combustion, the appearance of UFO's, even temporary suspensions of gravity. The list goes on and on. Yet, as continuous as these strange events are, traditionally-minded scientists steadfastly ignore them.

One man of vision early in the 20th century picked up the challenge --a man named Charles Fort. He catalogued every documented inexplicable event he could find. His tenacity hinged on the true thought that we must, ". . . Exclude nothing; consider everything!"

Now, certainly, I know that the government's "Black Ops" projects are responsible for some strange phenomena, such as the "Taos humm" but I do not believe that they are competent enough to be responsible for the vast array of unexplained events that are occuring. With that in mind, I ask you to please look at the Documentation Page, which has reading materials listed to enhance your studies along this absolutely critical exploration . . . .

As I once told an audience of pompous asses who would not listen: This Universe of ours, marvelous in beauty and complexity, is full --not only of the quixotic and, as yet, inexplicable-- but of things as dangerous as they are mysterious! . . . The challenge of the bizarre is decipher the meanings; it may simply be that we have grave misconceptions, which could very well jeopardize our existence! With this in mind, I proposed the establishment of unorthodox new branches of science to study what currently seems to us to be unorthodox:

• Psychonautics--the exploration of para-dimensional realms by means of altered states
• Morphogenic Resonance--how Mind shapes the energy of Reality
• Time Dilation Experiments--how we might travel through time, possibly correcting grievous human errors
• Forteana Studies--discerning patterns to documented, but as-yet-unexplainable events in our world, and
• Ether-Entities Studies: Reconnaissance on Trans-Dimensional Beings: Who are they? What do they want?

Be sure of this, ladies and gentlemen: We are in danger from malevolent beings! . . . And from the strange events that they set into motion! I must have your assistance to combat this evil! I cannot do it alone. . . . Ah, but I grow cold and tired. . . .
