Good day, fellow explorers! You have found the Time Page of Dr. Hyram Jeckyllwocky, coming to you from Santa Fe, New Mexico. What a mysterious force time is--mysteriously ephemeral, yet inextricably powerful! And, yet!, as powerfully confining as we humans find this river of time, I know that beings from other dimensions are unhampered by it. The evidence is stamped throughout our history! First, they appeared as gods to us. . . .

They seemed as gods, both benevolent and evil; then they appeared as angels and demons. Later still, they seemed to be fairy-folk; now as "extra-terrestrials"? How do we fight back against entities so clearly bent upon manipulating us? If we succeed in resisting, what will these seemingly all-too-powerful beings do?

Believe me, these are not just idle questions! Out time literally grows short! The ingression of novelty into our time-stream has only accelerated: Life has evolved over the course of millions of years; primitive man only appeared fifty-thousand years ago, at the earliest. We developed flourishing cultures within only the last five-thousand years. And in the 20th century alone we have seen more advances than in all of humanity's past eons combined! We seem to be racing towards some final "show-down!" Or, more likely, we are being drawn towards the Eschaton --the End of Days!

I believe that our last best hope is one Herbert George Wells--the inventor and operator of the world's first true time machine! I met him once, briefly, and, in our conversation, I learned that he came by his story-ideas honestly! Certainly, it's quite possible that he experienced alternate time-lines. But what of those "Martian" invaders, looking at our world with cold intellects. Those invaders were really right here, on Earth -- just a dimension over! Mr. Wells took off with his marvelous contraption and, obviously, made it home long enough to write his many excellent books of fact and fiction. But I can't help but wonder what became of his machine, and if he might possibly show up again! Yes, I know the man is dead; but a young, vigorous H.G. could have come to the future, helping us in our time of need and then returned to his own time to graciously meet his own end.

In the mean time, we must make the most of our time. Time is of the essence! Please, ladies and gentlemen, it is imperative that we prepare ourselves: We must expand our consciousness. We must investigate unorthodox new branches of science:

• Psychonautics--the exploration of para-dimensional realms by means of altered states
• Morphogenic Resonance--how Mind shapes the energy of Reality
• Time Dilation Experiments--how we might travel through time, possibly correcting grievous human errors
• Forteana Studies--discerning patterns to documented, but as-yet-unexplainable events in our world, and
• Ether-Entities Studies: Reconnaissance on Trans-Dimensional Beings: Who are they? What do they want?
